DigiSkill: Gender and Sexuality in Intercultural Contexts

You are warmly invited to join an online dialogue organized as part of the DigiSkill project, supported by the Erasmus+ programme, on the topic:
🌍 Gender and Sexuality in Intercultural Contexts 🌍
Sex and gender play an important role in how we understand ourselves and others. Across cultures, ideas about gender roles, identities, and relationships can differ greatly, shaping everyday interactions and social expectations.
This interactive dialogue will explore how sex and gender are understood in different cultural contexts, how people navigate diverse perspectives, and how intercultural exchange can support respect, inclusion, and open dialogue among young people.
📅 The dialogue will take place on February 10, 2026, at 13:00 CET, via Zoom (the link will be sent before the event).
⏱️ The session will last approximately 1.5 hours and will be held in English.
🎤 Our guest speaker will be Adéla Mochanová – Social and cultural anthropologist
Adéla is a social and cultural anthropologist with experience in multicultural childcare and field research. She spent 18 months in California as an au pair and has worked with children in diverse environments. Her research background includes anthropological and archaeological projects in Portugal, blending academic insight with real-world experience.
This dialogue is intended for young adults aged 18 to 30, particularly those interested in intercultural learning, youth cooperation, and international collaboration. The DigiSkill project connects participants from Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, Sweden, the Czech Republic, and Portugal, with a focus on developing both intercultural and digital competences.
We look forward to welcoming you to this inspiring and interactive conversation!
